It's always good to keep an eye on our UK Asian high street for any new fashion and latest UK Asian fashion news. Plus some of you may know l like to share affordable fashion available to us. As a result, l headed out to well-known Asian high street in East London, Green Street for the soft-launch of a new Asian shopping Centre.
Yes, East Shopping Centre is one of it's kind, it's not a mall or a bazaar but a sparkly modern building with various Asian shops inside.
In true Asian style, the soft launch featured a live DJ and dhol players at the entrance.
After walking in it, genuinely reminded me of a western style shopping centre and l was filled with delight. Finally, the UK have an Asian shopping centre to be proud of.
Also, it was nice to see a variety of Asian clothes from everyday fashion to semi-formal in a clean and professional atmosphere.
Approximately 20% of shops were still closed as some brands had not moved but it didn't matter as the grand launch being in 5 weeks anyway. From the shops that were open, they consisted of party wear, bridal, casual, kids wear, accessories and modest Islamic wear.
And it didn't stop there; if you were tired you could just pop to the end of the shopping centre for refreshments, food or just a coffee with free WiFi! Finally, an Asian establishment that understands the need of free WiFi.
People starting heaving in the late afternoon as l saw about to leave, luckily l got in early and left to go to another event before the rush.
Thanks to East Shopping Centre and Bliss PR for keeping me informed and a great service when l arrived. See you in 5 weeks when l can come all equipped with my Canon ;)
