It’s that time again, seasons changed and it’s nippy out there. The days are chiller, your current clothes don’t do the job and you need to update your wardrobe. Let me guess, you can’t because you don’t know where to start - never fear, Sarah is here! :D
Firstly, winter is the perfect excuse to wear fur and l do love fur. Why l hear you ask, well it’s perfect to instantly making you look sophisticated and sharp with your eastern or western everyday fashion.
The runway has spoken ladies, fur snoods are nowhere to be seen but l have a wonderful alternative all you Asian ladies will love. It’s long fur scarves draped across your chest with dresses or your winter jacket (above.)
Fake fur of course, my Kittie won’t be too happy if l offered you the real stuff. And we are always like to be ethical at Sara K blog, no animals should be harmed in the process and certainly not for fashion.
The high street style spot - I’ve seen the fur pieces in Zara when l went to Milan however, l am sure you will be able to find here in the UK. And last time l checked there were 3 different colours to pick from.
Casual greyscale is winter’s new black. You can’t go wrong with grey because you can get a large selection of grey shades. Personally, grey has always been a classic and a great combination with black or white for rocking that casual look.
If your wondering what colours you should be wearing, l found this fantastic chart which l selected to share because most of us South Asians seem to love in the UK - staple colours you can wear any season really.
The great element about the colour chart is, you can mix and match the colours shown. As most of us to find it hard to find colours that mesh, like we see on the runways.
Velvets are back, from velvet long dresses by Gucci and blazers. To spice up your looks you can choose the elegant patterned velvet fabrics or for the dress down/going out you can select the blazer (blazer in main blog image.)
I particularly love these trends as l have seen them on western and eastern runways. I will share this seasons Asian fashion trends from Indian and Pakistan this weekend so keep your eyes pealed.
