Jan's best dressed fashionistas

I don’t only look at designers for inspiration but always like to keep a close eye on the fashion gems you guys are wearing.

Yes, everyday fashion worn by every day people inspires me - l saw some stunning pieces that give me floods of ideas.

l decided to create a monthly blog entry where l troll through most social media platforms and fashion outfits sharing sites to find the best dressed British Asian outfits.

Jan's Best Dressed Fashionistas

Jan's Best Dressed Fashionistas

This month it did take awhile but I’ve finalised my top three and in no particular order;

1. These Asian themed modern kaftan, sari and top make the outfits every day wear. They are subtle in either the top half or bottom. For example, the kaftan has a black fabric as the top of her kaftan and looks as if its a skirt and top. The lace detailing on the skirt area give it character and trendy.

The young lady in the middle has incorporated a more western style - patterned top is tucked in to her plain black trousers.

The two tone sari is perfect to wear casually as the skirt is plain fabric with 2 meters of the sari contracted patterned and black with boarders. Love it ladies!

2. The second was chosen because we all love royal blue, kootos to the young lady who has wonderful symmetrical patterns on her dress. Not to forget the matching clutch bag which doesn’t draw away from the craftsmanship of the dress.

The darker colours in the symmetrical patterns has been picked for the skinny waist belt. The dress does all the talking, just perfect!

3. Finally, l was in ore of these fabulous Karachi fashion lovers wearing stylish long kamzees with flares and crotched at the sleeves.

The lady in the middle wearing a simple long kurta with palazzo trousers. l personally wouldn’t wear palazzo trousers with a long kurtha but she does pull it off quiet well.

The buttons are the main focal point of the outfit. Its amazing how much you can change the look of an outfit by making some small tweeks such as the buttons you attach.

My favourite piece has to be the velvet coat! Its all about the fabric. The colours are a beautiful fusion of spring.

Who says Pakistani’s don’t know how to dress. I think l need to go Karachi and Lahore soon!
