l've noticed a buzz from my new banner image - the type of fashion l love best from designers like Sania Maskatiya and this next designer l'm about to introduce.
l'm fed up of seeing the boring kurtas with cheap looking brooches attached to them. And heavy old pre-seasons wedding fashion. Why is it so hard to find casual kameezs? I'm having withdrawal symptoms from not seeing enough beautiful practical Asian fashion in the UK.
Instead of complaining, l decided to go the on a hunt for my lovely readers and found the perfect remedy. And who better to help me promote the western modern Asian fashion fusion but this next Pakistani designer who has showcased at Pakistan Fashion Week in Karachi.
You may have also spotted Sana Safinaz's linen collection on Asian high streets like l did on Green Street.
My favourite collection from the designer has to be her silk range. It's a great reflective for real women wanting an alternative to dated fashion in Britain. It's not only practical but very elegant pieces we can all wear.
I had to show you how Sana Safinaz takes the designer fashion magazine adverts and then translates it wonderfully on the website (left.) They show you how it could be worn to an evening out. And remember you can dress it down. It seems we need more of Sana Safinaz in the UK.
And yes you can buy the tunics online, prices do vary from £53 to £148. The prices aren't bad considering you get a ready-made garment and considering silk is a very expensive fabric the price isn't extortionate.
Pakistani fashion has developed rapidly with a new age of South Asian fashion being far ahead than the UK Asian fashion scene. As a result, Pakistani designers such as, Sana Safinaz create the Asian fashion trends and who better should we look to than designers from Asia.
If your looking for elegant yet modern South Asian fashion you can wear in Spring/Summer or a party you can't go wrong with Sana Safinaz.
