How can l forget my hijab and jilbab sisters who love fashion and World Hijab Day. I must say you ladies are rocking out the hijabs with your wonderful scarves, jackets and accessories.
There are some wonderful hijab fashion outlets out there and one l really like is Britain’s answer to modern day hijab fashion - Inayah. They have a variety of collections for all the different looks from chic, work wear to evening wear and party wear.
The colours they use in the garments are usually beautiful dusky beige, browns, pinks and pastel colours which are perfect for subtle but trendy fashion in Britain.
What l like the most about Inayah is they combine the latest trends, classic dresses and wonderful work wear. You have to appreciate their designs and execution even if you you don’t wear the jilbab. They make me want to buy all their garments and l don’t wear the traditional hijab even though l cover up. Now l’m yearning for some Inayah!
My favourite looks have to be the party frocks and long cotton dresses. You don’t have to do much to look great and they colours are neutral and match many of the accessories in my wardrobe.
The spring collection is on trend with floral and patterned pieces. Other pieces have embroidered necks, nowhere else will you find such wonderful, casual and comfortable hijabs. I can see why the brand is very popular in the modest fashion world.
In addition, working in Marketing l love their simple yet flawless website and photos. Unlike most ethnic brands online, the professionalism oozes out of Inayah from the logo to the visuals on the website :)
I would high recommend Inayah creations as l learnt they are so comfy and most of all fashionable!
I do love my cotton maxi dresses, l brought the fabric from a local fabric store and created my own cotton maxi dresses.
