As you all know accessorising is key to turn an average Eid outfit into a showstopper. As Eid is upon us l had to share accessorising tips when completing your Eid outfits. I certainly love Asian brand, Outhouse jewellery and couldn't help but take some inspiration for this next blog.
Join me ladies as this Eid l invite you to a special serving of jewels, a dash of gems and slice of beauty. The jewels are resting in a bed of bronze, the shimmer of gold and dazzled in a fusion of elegance. And I'm sure you'll all appreciate the fine work that's gone into this dish.
For starters, l recommend planning your look and at the starter stage you will know your outfit (let's hope you do) then review your rings and earrings (even studs). I suggest getting all the potential accessories that match well with the outfit out. Start nailing down to one you feel would do the look justice. If your dress is heavy embroidered, subtle earrings and rings are best.
...then moving on to the mains depending on your outfits heavy or not add a bracelet, earrings or necklace to compliment the gold or silver in your dress. If your dress is heavy choose one item of jewellery and just wear small yet elegant studs. If your not sure as your look is simple, lay gold and silver next to your outfit take a picture and have a coffee or tea and after the flick through the pictures. This method works best as mind reevaluates the look - it's similar to seeing old photos of yourselves and not liking the look at something was off. If you're still not sure send the pictures to your friends, show family or even ask helpful bloggers who have experience of putting looks together you love.
...and if you still not satisfied and want dessert, simply add a clutch that complements your outfit and heels can make a big difference too. l am sure you all accounted for when you were doing your Eid shopping.
Finally, just remember to review your look by taking another picture with your make-up. If your dress is heavy, don't over-do it with the make-up no-one likes a Christmas tree in Britain. It's all about elegance. If you're not sure what l mean just take a look a Pakistan or India Fashion Week and though the Sara K Blog of course.
If you're wondering what l do for Eid, I wear patterned silk or chiffon fashion and add Outhouse style jewellery. And make-up wise, l will be sharing my natural Eid contouring and highlighting beauty tips blog 5 am in the morning, perfect timing for you ladies to wake up have a read, get the cooking set and fashion/beauty prepped!
And that just leaves me to say, Bon Appétit and Eid Mubarak to those of you celebrating!
